One of the more common questions we hear from parents greeting their kids when they come off the bus, home from school, is, “Did you have fun today?” More common from the Asian or Indian parent you’ll hear, “Did you learn anything today?” Because that’s what you’re there for!
Jesus says in His invitation to come to Him (Matthew
11:28-30) to LEARN FROM HIM. Do we seek
to do this, when we go to church? Are we
there with Bible along, open before us, learning? Or are we having a good time? This doesn’t have to be a false dichotomy,
but what is your main goal in church-going?
What does Jesus call us TO, when He calls us to Himself?
