DaVinci Code and NT Wright

Al Mohler points to NT Wright's criticism of Dan Brown. A very good lecture/essay by Wright on the book and phenomenon, explaining why it's so popular and what's wrong with it.

  1. I am always amazed by N.T. Wright. He is obviously very gifted by God with a great intellect, yet, in his development of the New Perspective on Paul, he turns away from the most fundamental doctrine of the church, the one on which it stands or falls, that of justification by faith. At other times I read things by him that show a deep understanding of other things in scripture that amaze me.

  2. I'm with you on the mixed reviews of Wright. Here's an excellent review of New Perspective subject, if you're interested.
