Buh-Bye Socktober

Sock #1 - complete, sock #2 refused to pose for the camera

Socktober is done. My goal of knitting three socks in one month was not met. I did knit 2 socks, one for me (finishing a pair) and one for hubby (starting a pair). My toes will be toasty and his...well, I guess there'll have to be a lot of footsie under the table to keep his toes warm until the 2nd sock is finished!

And now it's November... plain, boring November. Nothing catchy like "Socktober" comes to mind. Any suggestions? After planning last weekend's Reformation party my mind needs a creative boost!

I didn't plan any events recently, but my brain is fried. How about plain, old "Novembrrrrrr" -- would you post your OSFA hat pattern? Or is that breaking copyright laws... The Jacksons need winter covers for our little heads!

I think we need a Hemmeke playdate at Deer or Huntington Park.

  2. kids were just asking about going to a park! Do you know how long it took me to figure out what OSFA meant? I thought it was another military acronym! ha!

Hat pattern here (beware the lilac yarn!) http://knitting-and.com/wiki/Handspun_Ribbed_Hat

yes, the lilac does nothing for me, but the hat looks like a winner. thanks. sorry about the acronym, though I don't know that it qualifies for that title. I don't usually do that, but it seemed to fit there...

when might you be free for parking?
