God calls us to trust Him,
while Satan still tempts us to doubt God’s Word. To take what He has forbidden,
to hide from Him when we sin, in our shame. Faith should have moved Adam and
Eve to the tree of life, not the tree of knowledge. Faith in God’s Word moves
us to this table of life, where we see life in His Son given, God’s salvation portrayed. Here we practice what Adam and Eve should have done, what we need
to do every day: coming to Jesus in faith, out of humility and worship to God.
Seeing that He gives us good things to sustain us.
