A few days ago I was suprised to see our first-ever morning glory bloom. After starting it from seed in March and carefully watering it all summer long, I had given up on it, figuring it was in too shady of a location to ever bloom.The mums I condemned to death by frostbite survived 3 days of winter snows and my ruthless transplanting and pruning back this spring. They are now blooming bright yellow and deep red in pots on my deck. I guess my "Resurrection Gardening" techniques work!
