I love to look at houses as I pass by. I notice over and over the houses in the old neighborhoods along my stretch of Harpersville C.1940. They are all pretty small - about 1000 square feet or less and the yards are HUGE, like 1/3 of an acre to more than an acre. Kids just stayed outside or at school, I guess.
