Jordan Peterson // Big Tech // Marriage

Jordan Peterson is interesting to listen to.  I just got his first book from the library, and it's not as good as his podcasts.  He's a better lecturer than writer, I think.  Here is a great review of his new book, and his worldview.  Quick summary: if you put the right filter on, he can be read with much profit.

Is it time to break up big tech, or is that a big government move we want to avoid?
Let the market take care of it?
Senator Hawley's point is that too much power in one place isn't just bad in government, it's also bad in the free market of corporations.  Worth considering.

John Stonestreet, from a recent Breakpoint Daily: "This reminds me of a progressive woman who tweeted: “If abortion is illegal then men abandoning their child should also be illegal. If this was a permanent decision for me then it is for you as a father also.” To which someone replied: “Congratulations, you invented marriage.”
