2 Timothy 1 - I want to be with you, remembering your faith handed down from your mom and grandma. Don't be ashamed of me because I'm in jail, or of the Gospel. Stick to orthodoxy. Some have turned away; others are faithful.
2 - Be strong in Jesus, as you will need to endure hardship. Remembering Christ raised will help. Don't let them argue endlessly about words - correct people gently and humbly.
3 - You'll have to deal with snakes, but you have Scripture.
4 - So preach it! My time is up. Bring Mark and my books, when you come, hopefully before winter.
